What Is In Isaac Gym Now?
In case you do not know, Isaac Gym is an Nvidia physics engine that allows the virtual training of robots. It was created to solve at-the-time unsolved challenges like spinning a pencil between robotic fingers and to teach a mixed type robot to manipulate objects. This virtual environment can simulate real life physics and let a virtual robot learn by trial and error at 1000 times real life! That is right, that is 83 years of real time learning in just 1 month!!! And it works! This begs the question… What is in Isaac Gym right now? I do not even want to know, all I know is that the public must start training for our own use cases on our own hardware and our own data for the benefit of us all.
